The name "Casa Malala" is a tribute to Malala Yousafzai (urdu : ملالہ یوسف زئی), a young Pakistani activist who has become an international symbol of the fight for girls' education.

La Cloche is an association fighting against social exclusion. Today, emergency shelters are saturated and there are more vacant homes than homeless people in France. La Cloche is facing the social emergency organizing events which highlight not only the social link, but also urban, citizen and eco-responsible initiatives. They value mutual aid and make it possible, easy and pleasant.

La Cloche created "Passe moi’micro" in 2020. It's a podcast giving voice to persons who are homeless across France.
